Permission obtained for the  1^st English International Specialized Journal of Medical Engineering at SRBIAU

The Dean of the SRBIAU Faculty of Medical Engineering, Dr. Ali Sheikhani, announced that the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch obtained  the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance for first English Specialized Journal of Medical Engineering entitled " International Journal of Biomedical Engineering (IJBE)" to be published in Iran , the SRB Office of Public Relations (OPR) reports.

"The related journals so far published in the country only included Persian journals dealing mostly with subjects close to the Medical Engineering; the new journal being in English and highly specialized is the result of the great efforts of the SRB Faculty of Medical Engineering" the Dean emphasized.

Noting that the journal will be published as a quarterly, he stated that its editorial board incorporates the elite academic staffs in the fields of Biomaterial Sciences, Biomechanics, and Bioelectroics, from different Iran universities.
